The bbc is doing a programme on horizon tonight about robots etc.. The site links to some interviews with Isaac Asimov, from 1965.
The guy was quite remarkable. If you’re not familiar with Asimov, you might be surprised to know that he’s the writer of some of the most recent sci-fi blockbusters in Hollywood, including I Robot, Bicentennial Man. He came up with the whole 3 laws stuff for robots, which is featured in I Robot, and he discusses in the above linked interviews.
