The BBC is reporting that the Governmant Ban on MP3 transmitters is lifted. For those of you who don’t know, if you want to use a device which transmits your mp3 player to your radio, so you can listen in your car if you have a CD player rather than a tape deck (which have nifty little adapters..). There’s loads on the market, but they are technically classed as pirate radio stations, but Ofcom were re-evaluating this to let common sense prevail, and allow people use these for personal use. This has been on the go for about a year, and the deliberation stopped last month, I had no expectation that the implementation would be so swift! This means I can get one of these for christmas!
