Aparenty the rise in abortions after a boozy Christmas period is the governments fault, because they’re not providing adequate contraception services over the festive period.
“Yes! I got drunk and took little care over what I or anyone did with my body, and it’s all the governments fault.. Now give me an abortion!” is the cry. So that pesky government is at it again not meddling enough in our lives, so now it’s their fault again.
By the way, government, please stop being a nanny state and telling me to not smoke which will kill others and my baby, who made it your job to tell me what to do, it’s just your job to sort the mess out when I end up in it!!
Seriously, the government are expected to protect us from ourselves, and be shouted at for doing so. Sucks to be the government of a society which has absolutely no comprehension of personal responsibility. How long is it until the only solution is for the government to force sterilise those who refuse to stop themselves from getting pregnant as teenagers or whatever because it’s the only thing that will work, and we can’t afford to pay for them to bring up baby any more?
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. And anyway, no matter who you vote for.. the government always gets in..
