Sun and Global Warming

According to: BBC NEWS | Sunspots reaching 1,000-year high.  So increasing sunspot activity == increased earth temperatures.   But it’s still our fault because our pollution is making things worse.  Hmm..  Time will only tell what the deal is and how daft scientists assumptions really were.  I wonder what would happen if the temperature starts going down at some point, despite us doing nothing about our fuel use.  It would be interesting to hear what they say.   Of course it could all get worse, regardless of what we do, and they’ll naturally be right (sarcasm).
